La ricollocazione di due sculture lignee nella Chiesa del Santo Sepolcro al termine degli interventi di restauro delle superfici interne della Chiesa ripropone la questione della  visione delle opere d'arte in rapporto al costruito. L’articolo riporta alcune riflessioni su come e dove ricollocare le opere, all'interno di un'architettura che si presenta mutata nella sua percezione a seguito delle scelte progettuali che hanno guidato l'intervento di restauro, tenendo ben presente sia il ruolo devozionale che rivestono per la comunità religiosa sia la corretta percezione in quanto opere di valore storico documentario.

The relocation of two wooden sculptures in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher at the end of the restoration intervention on the interior surfaces of the Church proposes the question of the vision of works of art in relation to the built environment. The article contains some thoughts on how and where to relocate art works, within an architecture that has changed his perception as a result of the design choices that led the restoration work, keeping in mind both the devotional role played for the religious community and their correct perception as works of historical documentary value.
