Regatta de Blanc 980 è un intervento residenziale alla periferia di Pesaro nato dal concorso abitarECOstruire bandito nel 2008 da Legambiente e Anca b-Legacoop. Dal concorso al cantiere il progetto ha subìto una lunga serie di modifiche ed integrazioni derivanti da questioni legali e normative. Nonostante ciò i progettisti sono riusciti, nelle diverse fasi, a conservare intatto il principio di integrazione tra immagine compositiva e strategie per la sostenibilità energetica dell’edificio.

Le due istanze si congiungono e trovano risoluzione nel grande vuoto centrale che assolve alla doppia funzione di prolungamento della casa e di camino di ventilazione. Notevole è l’attenzione riservata alla progettazione dello spazio collettivo di pertinenza della residenza, ambito che, se adeguatamente progettato, può migliorare la qualità urbana del contesto e la condizione abitativa dei residenti.

Regatta de Blanc 980 is a housing project located in the Pesaro’s peri-urban area and born as an outcome of abitarECOstruire competition in 2008, announced by Legambiente and Ancab-Legacoop. From the preliminary study to the construction site the project has suffered a long series of amendments as a result of legal and regulatory issues. However, the designers have succeeded, at different stages, to keep intact the image composition and the strategies for energy sustainability of the building. The two instances will unite and find resolution in the great central vacuum, which performs the dual function of the extension of the house and the ventilation chimney. Considerable attention is given to the collective residential space design. This space, if properly designed, can improve the quality of the urban environment and the living conditions of the residents.
