Etica delle pubblicazioni

The Management Team of Ponte provides for standards of expected ethical behaviour for all parties involved in the act of publishing.
In particular, by supporting and implementing the policy of peer review for the acceptance of the proposed papers, as part of the commitment to the protection and enhancement of scientific knowledge, Ponte has an obligation to collaborate with the scientific community respecting all aspects of publishing ethics, especially verifying cases of (suspected) duplicate submission or plagiarism.

Duties of the Management Team

  • responsibility in publication decisions;
  • fair play;
  • confidentiality;
  • verification of conflicts of interest;
  • involvement and cooperation in investigations concerning duplicate submission or plagiarism.

Duties of the Publisher

  • verification of compliance with editorial standards;
  • verification of the correctness of the papers offered and of the compliance with the guidelines for publication;
  • ensuring that advertising, reprints or other commercial revenues have no impact or influence on editorial decisions;
  • verification of plagiarism;
  • verification of falsifications and/or manipulations of existing data.

Duties of Editorial Committee members

  • contribution to editorial decisions;
  • availability and promptness in responding to requests for coll
  • fair play;
  • confidentiality;
  • objectivity;
  • acknowledgement of sources;
  • verification and declaration of any conflicts of interest.

Duties of external reviewers

  • availability and promptness in responding to requests for collaboration;

  • verification and declaration of any conflicts of interest.

Duties of Authors

  • presentation of papers that meet the standards required in the guidelines for publication;
  • data retention;
  • acknowledgement of sources;
  • verification and declaration of any conflicts of interest;
  • absence of plagiarism, falsifications and/or manipulations of existing data.
